Exporting
Ship a bid as a spreadsheet your clients — and your pipeline — can read.
Quick start
- Click Export in the top bar of the Player or Shot List.
- Pick an export preset (or Default).
- Slate produces an XLSX with categories as columns and shots as rows.
Details
Export presets
Export presets control which columns appear, how groups collapse, and whether internal notes are included. Set them up once per workspace.
What's included
- Shot code, description, methodology, assumptions, notes.
- Day count and cost per category.
- Optional: tags, thumbnails, work type and tier, custom fields.
Getting data back out elsewhere
Slate is deliberately easy to leave. Beyond XLSX there's a read/write API for your own tooling — see the API section of your workspace settings — so a bid can flow into whatever you track production in.
